Howdy! Looking forward to meeting you! Here is some info about me and my horses! Enjoy!

About me: I’m a 27 year old horse- crazy girl. No one else in my family had the horse-crazy gene, but when all my barbies had broken knees so they could sit on my breyer horses, my parents knew they were in for trouble! For Christmas as a nine year old, my parents got me a horse to “lease” for a year, to show me how hard it was-well, that backfired, because (of course) I fell madly in love with every single minute of poopscooping, brushing, feeding and riding little “Topper.” So when I was 10, they caved and bought me “Annie Tic Tac,” a big giant buckskin Quarter horse mare. She was 13, and full of fire, I was 10, and in love.
Luckily, Annie survived us newbie horse owners, and even though we made many mistakes, we must have done something right, as she is still fat and sassy and full of fire at 30 years old.
Here she is chomping on some grain in August 2011:
Annie will always be MY Girl! and she taught me A lot! Sadly for me, she still lives in Washington State with my parents, but I visit her every chance I can!

My Current Horses in SoCal:
NATE THE GREAT a 15 year old Black and white Paint. 16.3 hands (thats HUGE!) and the most gentle soul and kind heart. He has taught Little 4 year olds, and 70 year old women how to ride. The first time my dad showed him, he rode him bareback and still got 1st place! My 83 year old Grandma showed him and won her one event 3 years in a row! I would trust him with everyone! He is My BOY! the first time I saw him, I told my mom he would be mine. Luckily a few months later the stars were aligned and he went up for sale, and I happened to have enough to buy him! (pretty good for a 19 year old!)
We have shown together, done western Pleasure, showmanship, and english, trail ridden thru back country, cattle drives, minor jumping, barrel racing, gymkana, gaming, and any thing else I can think of to subject the poor guy to. I can ride him bridle-less and saddle-less and he listens to my every cue.
My husbands horse is new to the barn. She is a sweet-but-frisky 5 year old quarter horse mare named Emma.
We just purchased Emma after looking for the perfect horse for many months, she is just being broke to ride now, and is doing very well on the trails. She is very brave for such a young horse!
I hope to show her for a few years, and then my husband Shane wants to barrel race her! I know she will be great at both! (this was her first day on the trail, – her 10th ride ever! and she is Standing in the Creek!)

So those are MY horses, also at the barn we have:
PJ! a very sweet old man of 27 years, his owner comes to ride him every Sunday!
This is Mike riding PJ! Mike had never been on a horse before! We had a great time!
Gracie! a 6 year old Thoroughbred
and Chloe:
Chloe is Emma’s sister! she is a 5 year old Quarter horse mare, and very sweet.
Emma is the Blue Roan, Chloe is the Red Roan
